General Advisory Council

General Overseer, CGM Int.

Rev. Victor Ogunkanmi G.P

Rev. Victor Ogunkanmi was born in Lagos where he spent his childhood and had his primary school education. He had his secondary school education at Ecole Gaskiya Bilingue Internationel, Porto-Novo, Republique du Benin in 1973 and Archbishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School, Ilasamaja, Lagos State from where he moved on to King's College, Lagos for his A/Level in 1978. He earned his first degree from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife now known as Obafemi Awolowo University in 1983 and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Jos, Plateau State. He started CGM Students' Fellowship with the late James Oluloro on the campus of University of Ife in 1982.

Rev Victor served in the Federal Civil Service from 1984 in different capacities and was appointed Executive Director (Administration & Human Resources) of a Federal Parastatal in 2006. He got married on the 9th of May, 1987 to the love of his life, Olubukunola Nee Durojaiye, a lawyer whom he met for the first time in a Bible Study of the Evangelical Christian Union at Ife in 1982. Both Bukky and Victor pioneered the first Abuja church of Christ Gospel Mission on Sunday, 3rd of July, 1988 from their living room and planted other churches around the Federal Capital Territory, including Nasarawa, Niger, Rivers and Delta States, as well as Benin Republic and the United States of America. Victor was appointed the first Director of Missions in CGM and later as the General Evangelist in addition to his ministerial office as the Divisional Overseer of Abuja, Niger/Delta & Overseas Division. He served two terms as the General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), Abuja Chapter; as the first General Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (P.F.N.) Abuja for eight (8) years; Vice Chairman of Abuja PFN; and as a former National Deputy Secretary of PFN. Victor is a Life Patron of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Abuja, an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and serves on the boards of some organizations including Couples Delight Fellowship that promotes biblical virtues of the marriage institution, Vision International Leadership Consultancy and other NGOs.

On Friday, 13th March, 2013, the pioneering General Overseer of CGM: Rev. Daniel Olagoke Ogunkanmi ordained Rev Victor as his successor with prayers and laying on of hands, in the presence of all members of the General Advisory Council, all ministers and workers of the Mission who had been summoned to attend the General Ministerial Council meeting. Shortly thereafter, the founding General Overseer was called home to glory, to meet with his Saviour, Lord and King whom he served faithfully on Tuesday, 21st May, 2013. Rev. Victor's official commissioning was concluded during the 44th Annual Convention of CGM on Monday, 5th August, 2013 by the members of the General Advisory Council of CGM and Bishop Mike Okonkwo, the Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Lagos, Nigeria and former President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

Rev Victor and Rev Bukky Ogunkanmi are blessed with five children who are doing exploits for the Kingdom of God all over the globe and a growing number of grandchildren.

Good Women's President

Rev. Olubukunola Ogunkanmi

Rev. Olubukunola Ireti Ogunkanmi, nee Durojaiye was born in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State of Nigeria. She went to Christ Cathedral School, Lagos; Queens School, Ibadan from 1974-79 where she was one of the prefects in her set. She attended Federal Government College, Odogbolu for her A/levels 1980-81 where she was made the Head Girl. She graduated with LL.B. from University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University in 1985 and obtained her BL from the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1986. On her completion of the National Youths Service Corps in 1987 in Lagos State, Rev. Bukky worked with Bouygues Construction Company and later Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja from where she voluntarily retired for full-time ministry in 2006.

Rev. Bukky and her husband pioneered Christ Gospel Mission Int. in Garki, Abuja in July 1988. She attended significant management and leadership courses globally and is involved in the annual Emerging Leaders Conference, Lagos, where she mentors young leaders. She oversees the affairs of the Good Women’s Fellowship of Christ Gospel Mission Int. in addition to being the convener of the Women of the Word (WOW) Conference, and the founder of Couples’ Delight, an NGO that promotes healthy relationships and enriches the institution of marriage. Rev. Bukky has been happily married for over 35 years and is blessed with five children, three sons-in-law, and a growing number of grandchildren to date.

Divisional Overseer - Oyo, Osun & Kwara States of Nigeria

Rev Sunday G. Bolatiri

Reverend Sunday G. Biolatiri serves as the Divisional Overseer for CGM churches in Oyo, Osun, Kwara States of Nigeria. Since joining the church in 1973, he has held prominent roles including membership of the National Christian Education Board. Reverend Biolatiri became a Full-time minister on the 2nd of June 1986, was promoted as District Pastor in October, 1994 and was appointed a Divisional Overseer in February 2003 which elevated him to the General Advisory Council.

Reverend Biolatiri is known for his practical and easy to understand teachings and preaching and mentors other ministers and members to attain Christ-like maturity. He desires all CGM churches to grow spiritually and have their own places/building of worship and dedicated Pastors to lead them.

When he is not doing church work, he enjoys reading and traveling. He is a 1985 alumnus of the CGM Bible school and also a trained couturier. Reverend Biolatiri is happily married to Deaconess Deborah Olanike and they are blessed with children: Abey, Seyi, Paul, Beauty, Yinka, Florence and Festus- all serving the LORD.

Divisional Overseer - Ondo and Ekiti States of Nigeria

Rev Timothy O. Osuolale

Reverend Timothy O. Osuolale serves as the Divisional Overseer for CGM churches in Ondo and Ekiti States of Nigeria and also serves as the Foreign and Home Missions Director. He joined CGM in 1979 and started pastoring in 1994. He especially likes the opportunity to have direct contact with people where they are, and helping them to discover solutions to the issues of life through the working of the Holy Spirit. Known as a man of uncommon passion for people with a lifetime ambition of serving God and people, Rev. Tim. likes reading and hunting games.

Rev. Osuolale earned Bachelor of Agricultural Science (1990) and Master’s degree from the University of Ibadan and is also an alumnus of the CGM Bible College from where he obtained a Certificate in Theology. He is happily married to Assist. Pastor Rebecca Olufunmilayo and they are blessed with Peter, Ifeoluwa, Bernice and Covenant- all serving the LORD in various capacities. Rev Osuolale's burning passion is that through CGM, the gospel of Jesus will be known and accepted throughout the world.

National Overseer, CGM Int., USA

Rev (Mrs) Victoria Olatuyi

Reverend (Mrs) Victoria Olatuyi serves as the Acting National Overseer of CGM Int. churches in the United States of America. She is a gifted teacher, administrator, courageous and inspiring leader and pastor. She had served as a District Pastor since 2010 and was appointed a member of the Board of Trustees in 2013. She was ordained Reverend in August 2016.

An alumnus of Yaba College of Technology in Lagos and also Administrative Staff College Of Nigeria (ASCON) Rev. Victoria is currently serving in the Executive of the African Ministers Fellowship US. As the National Overseer of Christ Gospel Mission Int. churches in the USA and the lead Pastor at the Lanham Maryland location, Reverend Victoria is leading a mission for all to know Christ and grow to be like Him in character and deeds. She was happily married to Rev Johnson Olatuyi who was called home to glory in August 2021. They are blessed with four children, Johnson Oluwapelumi, Gideon, Peter and Ebenezer who are all fervently serving the Lord.

Divisional Overseer Lagos and Ogun states

Rev. Toyin Adeyemo

Rev. Toyin Abayomi Adeyemo is serving as the Divisional Overseer for CGM churches in Lagos and Ogun States of Nigeria. He joined CGM in 1972 and served in various capacities including District Pastor in charge of Abeokuta II District before becoming Divisional Overseer in 2016. He also served meritoriously in the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission from where he recently retired as Principal of a Secondary School.

Rev. Adeyemo enjoys providing godly counsel to individuals with clarity in all aspects of life and takes farming as a hobby. He is an alumnus of University of Port-Harcourt where he obtained B.Ed in 1993; University of Ibadan: M.Ed in 2003; and Somam Bible College Abeokuta. Rev. Toyin is happily married to Assist. Pastor Deborah Oluyemisi and they are both actively involved in serving the church. Rev. Toyin is passionate for souls and aims to raise and develop leaders fit to serve in CGM churches and their respective communities.

National Treasurer

Rev. Gideon O. Olaleru

Rev. Gideon O. Olaleru serves as the National Treasurer of CGM. He joined the church in August 1975 and has served in various capacities including being the Pastor of the Festac Town church since 1996 and also a District Pastor overseeing CGM local churches. Rev. Olaleru considers it a privilege to minister to members by sharing in their joys and griefs alike. He cherishes the opportunity to be genuinely close to those he ministers to and is known for his gentleness, administrative strengths and his wealth of ideas. He enjoys reading, writing and music.

He is an alumnus of the International Bible Training Center - Ayobo Lagos and also an Economist & Educational Management and Policy Professional by training. He is happily married to Deaconess Dr. Comfort Temilade and they are both actively serving the LORD in various capacities with fruits to show. Rev. Olaleru has a burning desire for Church Planting and he desires that CGM churches should be planted in all Anglophone and Francophone African countries.

Director of Planning and Strategic Initiatives

Rev. Ernest Akhilele

Rev. Ernest Akhilele serves as the Director of Planning and Strategic Initiatives in CGM. He joined the Mission in 1990 and has held several prominent offices including serving as the District Pastor of CGM Kubwa District, Abuja and also chairs the Minister's Security Trust Fund, which processes ministers’ terminal benefits. Rev. Ernest prioritizes discipleship and enjoys seeing unbelievers transform into serious believers, realizing their personal dreams and visions; and troubled believers receiving turn around in their situations.

Rev. Ernest's utmost desire is "for CGM to churn out formidable Christians in high numbers that will carry on the banner of Christ.” He doesn't want to keep doing what he was doing 20 years ago because others are learning and making themselves available to receive the baton for such responsibilities.

Renowned for showing care, Rev. Ernest likes watching football and nice movies in his leisure. He is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan (UI) and the CGM Bible College. He is happily married to Deaconess Chioma Chika and they are blessed with children named Jessie, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Jathniel - all serving the LORD.

Financial Secretary

Deaconess Oluremi Alabi

Deaconess Oluremi Alabi serves as the Financial Secretary of CGM since her appointment in August 2019. She joined the church in 1989 and has served in other prominent roles including the Financial Secretary of the CGM Students Fellowship. Deaconess Alabi believes that when we genuinely serve according to God's plans and purpose, we encourage the next generation to grow in God's love and increase their desire to be committed to God's work.

Deaconess Remi holds B.Sc. in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State and is an alumnus of CGM Int. Bible College where she obtained a Certificate in Theology. She is happily married to Deacon Benjamin Alabi and are blessed with two children named Goodness and Mercy. She enjoys singing and sewing and her utmost desire for CGM is to see young people coming to know Christ and continue to grow and develop in maturity through fruitful discipleship

General Coordinator of the Emerging Leaders

Ifeoluwa Osuolale

Ifeoluwa Osuolale currently serves as the General Coordinator of the Emerging Leaders in CGM - a leadership development forum with the goal of ensuring that a solid pipeline of leaders is being developed among the youths of CGM. She joined CGM in 1993 and has held the role of General Coordinator since August 2019. She had earlier served as the CGM Youth General Secretary. She cherishes the opportunity to serve and be mentored as the youngest serving member of the General Advisory Council of the Church.

Ifeoluwa is an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and she enjoys writing, reading and singing. Her utmost desire for CGM is that “our way of life would evangelize and preach the gospel so that we don't have to utter words before people become eager to know Christ that we serve.
